New to Unity?

Unity is for people who might call themselves spiritual but not religious. It is for those who sense the depths of their own being and celebrate the awareness of a power greater than themselves.

Prayer of the Week

Prayer by Sandra Blanchard

Dear God,
We do not always think about how we move throughout our day reacting or responding from our  thoughts and emotions.  The stories we tell ourselves from events of the day.  Stress is often self-inflicted.  Our busy schedules can take precedence over everything leaving us feeling exhausted, drained of energy emotionally, physically, and mentally.  Creativity and fun takes a back seat to all the busy work.

It is important that we take a deep breath and remember how important it is to check in with ourselves to remember our bodies need for rest, to take a moment to be fully aware of your presence, God revitalizing us from within.

We still our minds and relax, letting go of the tension in our bodies.  As we slowly breathe in and exhale, we release the problems of the day and we allow our imaginations to create solutions knowing that your divine guidance is leading us to the proper time and place, to the right outcomes.  As we feel your energy flowing through us we begin to feel renewed and energized, ready to take on what is ours to do and release the rest to you.

When we choose to be flexible and adaptable to an unexpected change in plans we encourage our own and everyone else's mind set to be positive and empowering.  When we focus on the goodness of others, we bring about the goodwill in others, allowing a space to grow, choosing to see the presence of God in every person and in every situation, we can still see our world in a better place.  Wherever we are, God you are with us.  Thank you and so it is,

Amen
