Sometimes prayer is a journey from ‘longing’ to ‘knowing’ to ‘awareness of the ONE Presence’, to gratefulness, to Love. A journey from what we think we want or need, to the realization that we have what we are seeking within our own hearts.

Perhaps we can take a moment now to consciously quiet ourselves, our minds, our emotions and our bodies; Let’s breathe together, gently, in … and … out; with each out breath, we settle deeper into our prayer.

You may hold the intention, if you wish, of sensing that we are breathing as one presence, one heart. You might imagine that we are all instruments in a divine orchestra, and with our breath, with our heart’s humm, we are tuning to each other and the whole. Rather than being one string on a harp we begin to resonate in harmony and beauty with all the strings; a song; our heart song emerges.

Breathing in … Breathing out; settling even deeper now into your heart.

I invite you now to humm with me and with each other, for a moment, as we open into resonance, as we breathe together. Listen and feel the humm in your own body and being; listen to one another. Gently keep this humming going.

Perhaps your heart is holding some shame and blame, some fears, some grief, some pride. With the support of this greater collective resonance, we can shudder, shiver, let go and take that first courageous step into the unknown as we discover a willingness and acceptance of what Is.

Settle a bit more now into this ‘humm’ now. Let it just keep flowing as a low soft humming as I speak. Let this concert of hearts harmonize now as the frequency LOVE that we are; let this be our prayer. Let our joined hearts sing our prayer of oneness; allow our infinite gratitude now to rise to overflowing. This is the prayer of remembering and embodying who we truly are.

Beloved Father/Mother/God/Divine Source of All Being, we sing this song as we dance in the Ocean of awareness. May all beings everywhere know and feel this peace, this joy, this LOVE and rest in this inner sanctuary.

All praise and blessing to and from the One Presence, the One power. We bow in gratefulness to the ONE. We bow to and embrace all as LOVE.

Amen. Alleluia, Alhamdullilah. And, so it is!
