Dear God,

When we spend time to pray or to meditate with you, we come to know that in silence or with words we are coming together in a willingness to embrace all human beings in all their physical forms wherever they are on their spiritual walk on earth. In silence we feel your Divine Presence washing over us transforming us from within to experience a deeper compassion, empathy, and understanding of our actions and others seeing all through your Divine love flowing through our every cell of our bodies. We are less judgmental and we experience a new sensitivity that we can bring to each other.

Dear sweet Spirit, if we truly want to know about ourselves talk to our family and friends, our actions, behaviors, and words unconsciously reveal the state of our mind and heart, our activities and actions show our inner anxieties and fears.  When we take time to be in silence, we hear your wisdom guiding us always. It takes practice to do something that is healing and worthwhile.  When we desire to learn and to grow, we find a new way to be the light that Jesus showed us to be to become the example of how to live our lives and transform fear, hatred, and greed around us and within us.

We do not have to see or do things the hard way. Through prayer and meditation, we begin to discover the true meaning of compassion, for ourselves and for others. God, through your loving energy we can all learn to be more forgiving, more thoughtful, and kinder towards ourselves and others, and the world around us, to walk in your light and be the expression of love and peace that we are here to be.
Thank you, God, and so it is.  Amen.
